 Mindfulness is something that is very important for children, now more so than ever. We’ve been listening to Niall Breslin’s “Mindful Moments for Children”. We’ve also read “Take Five” and “The Magic Moment” by Niall Breslin.

Maths Week 2020

Last week was Maths week so we added some extra tasks in to show how fun maths is 😀 We played games outside and created our own ‘Shape Monsters’ for Halloween. We also solved maths problems each day with a partner. 

Spooky Sounds👻👻

 This week in Music, we were listening and responding to some spooky music. We loved completing the tasks however there were some songs that we decided we did not want to listen to again. This is one we really enjoyed. 👻

 

Welcome Back

Hi everyone, 

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend.  Now that we have been back for seven weeks, I thought it was about time to show everyone what we have been up to since we came back. 

First of all, it has been lovely to work with all of the boys and girls in Second Class, they have been so welcoming and hard-working since I arrived in Killygarry N.S.

A Seesaw profile has been set up for all students so we will also be using that. It can be used to keep in contact with students who may be missing from school for a number of days. Students are encouraged to send work in on seesaw or email, or if they have any questions, they can message me for information. 

All students will be given their login this week. If they are absent, I will email the logins and passwords to you.

On the blog, I will be uploading samples of work, pictures, videos and also any class/school news. I will upload every week or two depending on what is going on in the class. This may be more frequent also.
