Green Schools

Mrs Dunne has asked if we can help with working towards the school’s Biodiversity and the Green School’s Committee, especially as the weather has been so good and we can get out and about. We can do this by keeping an eye out for native plants and animals that we have learned about in school. You could keep a little nature Diary of some of the birds you have spotted, record where and when you seen them and also some of the blossoms or leaves which are appearing now. I have seen so many primroses out now when I go for a walk and also on Easter Sunday there was a hare running around outside my house. Jack and Sophia reckon he was there to help the Easter Bunny deliver the eggs.

DEAR TIME: 20 minutes reading twice a day and remember to keep doing your quizzes.

Physical Exercise- make sure to get active everyday-60minutes per day- go for a walk/cycle your bike/practice your GAA or soccer skills, dance. I know some of you love to dance.

Also did anyone see the RTE school hub today? They were learning about the counties of Leinster. Remember just before we finished up we were trying to memorise the counties of Ulster. If you want to check out this lesson on the rte player if you missed it. It would be a good way to start learning a new set of counties.Remember Leinster is the province that teacher lives in, does anyone remember what county?
